Speech Pathology Student Association aims to provide a platform for Curtin Speech Pathology students to gain more experiences out of the classroom, through professional and personal networking across both undergraduate and masters students, as well as collaboration with students from different universities studying Speech Pathology.
As Speech Pathology is a young and growing profession in Australia, students are the future for innovation and growth and this should be fostered at the start of their learning experiences at university. The members of this club will be invited to network with practicing Speech Pathologists and explore the numerous opportunities that the degree offers, not only in an Australian setting but on an international platform.
This club will be inclusive to all Curtin students that are interested in the area of Speech Pathology, and encourages an interprofessional mindset at all times. A club mentoring program will be established whereby students in their final years will provide support to students in years below, and will create a culture of sustainability for future graduates of the profession.
