The Students with Disabilities Department will be hosting an interesting workshop open for all to attend!
The presentation will include the following:
- Universal adaptations to make many games accessible to people with various forms of disability specifically including: sensory and chemical sensitivity, allergies, wheelchair use, social anxiety, blindness, deafness and hard of hearing, trauma.
- Examples of how existing games use game mechanics to represent people with disabilities (including popular games such as Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, and Shadowrun).
- Examples of online stores that sell modified versions of board games for blind people.
