A smoking ceremony was held this morning to mark the opening of the Curtin Exchange precinct.
Food was prepared by Kirribilli Catering using native foods from Australia grown right here on the Bentley campus.
In doing so, the Curtin Student Guild acknowledges the ancient and continuing connections Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have with these foods from their lands and waters.
