Over 8,000 Individuals Unite to Demand Parking System Reform

Thanks to you, the student community; we have collected almost 8,000 petition signatures addressing the broken parking system on our campus. This week, the petition was submitted to the Curtin University executives. Whether parking at Curtin is fixed or not, is now completely up to them.

Read the letter that was submitted with the signatures below:

Action Required: 8,000 Voices Demand University Parking Reform

We outlined three crucial requests, aimed at rectifying the current parking system's shortcomings:
1.    Reducing Parking Fines to $20
2.    Low-cost Mixed PAYG and Permit System
3.    Abolishing CellOPark

Last year, we sent the petition signed by 2,737 individuals. But our voices were dismissed, claiming the numbers weren't enough.

Now with 8,000 unified voices, the Curtin community expects our concerns to be heard and acted upon. Ignoring these pressing matters would risk perpetuating student discontent and exacerbating falling engagement rates.
