Hiba Alsoeady
Kaya! My name is Hiba Alsoeady (she\her), and I’m in my penultimate year studying a double degree in Law and Psychology.
This year I’m really excited to be running for Guild Council and NUS Delegate.
In the last year, I have had the absolute privilege of serving as the 2023 Health Sciences Representative.
Not to mention, in the past five years, I have held a multitude of executive positions on various boards. Two of the boards include the Metropolitan Migrant Resource Centre and the Young Women's Council of Australia where I’ve had experience reading financial statements, reviewing and amending policy and high-level strategic planning.
If elected, I will strongly advocate for Guild representation on the University Council and opportunities for students to have access to nurse practitioners on campus, reduced Curtin Counselling wait times and the availability of free period products and rentable lockers around campus.
